PAYFLEX for Online Shoppers: What Is It and How It Works
•Posted on December 01 2020
Do you enjoy shopping on fbo's user-friendly online platform? If so, you know how convenient it is to have your items delivered directly to your doorstep or to take advantage of our click and collect service. We offer free delivery for all purchases over R1000.
With the current economic situation, many consumers are not able to pay the full price upfront for their fashion and accessory needs. The good news is that fbo sells all the trendiest styles and brand label clothing at rock bottom prices, as we believe that premium quality fashion should be available to everyone.
We also regularly have sought-after items on sale for even lower prices. Our sales are particularly popular and if you want to take advantage of this, we recommend acting fast as the items fly off the shelves!
If you find yourself struggling to afford what you want, we offer our customers a lay-by facility and the popular Payflex option for online shoppers.
What is Payflex?
Payflex is a safe and secure payment plan option that is used by many reputable South African merchants.
It allows you to buy something now and pay for it later. Unlike credit cards or store cards that charge you interest, with Payflex there is no interest at all, as long as you remain up to date with your payments!
By selecting the Payflex option when checking out on fbo's shopping portal, you will be able to spread your payment out over four equal payments every two weeks until it has been paid off.
There is no catch, no hidden terms and conditions, and best of all, no hidden fees. Payflex is simply an easy and affordable way to buy the top fashion labels for yourself and your family!
How can I apply for Payflex?
As mentioned, Payflex is available to all fbo online shoppers. If you want to use this option when checking out, you can simply apply online and receive confirmation within minutes.
Interested in applying? You will need to have a few personal details on hand, such as your South African ID number, your email address, cell phone number, and physical address. Once you have entered this information into the system and Payflex has verified your identity, you will receive a response almost immediately.
How do I make my fortnightly payments on Payflex?
It is very easy to pay for your Payflex purchases. All you need is a MasterCard or Visa debit or credit card, and you are good to go. It is as simple as this!
What is the difference between Payflex and a lay-by?
Generally speaking, Payflex and a lay-by are very similar in that they require you to make regular payments and they don't charge you any interest.
With our lay-by, you can pay via EFT or come into one of our stores to pay. On the other hand, with Payflex, you make regular payments with your debit or credit card. Our lay-by requires you to put down a 20% deposit, while our Payflex option does not require this.
If you enjoy fbo's popular online shopping portal, our Payflex facility is a great option for you.
Still, have questions about our Payflex facility? Send us a message or ask our online store manager and we would be happy to assist you!
